Dilek is a Researcher at the Finance for Development Lab, working on issues related to debt sustainability in low-income and market-access countries. Prior to this, she was a Research Analyst at the IMF’s Debt Policy Division in the Strategy, Policy and Review Department, where she worked on the Debt Service Suspension Initiative (DSSI), the G20 Common Framework and co-authored the Guidance Note on implementing the Debt Limits Policy in Fund supported programs. She also worked as a Consultant at the World Bank and the Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative (StAR) – a partnership between the World Bank and UNODC, that supports international efforts to end safe havens for corrupt funds. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University.
