Thawben Berka

Research Analyst

Thawben Berka holds a Master’s from Sciences Po and is currently completing a degree at HEC Paris. He began his career in the public sector at the French National Assembly, before moving into sovereign advisory at BNP Paribas, where he worked on Ghana’s debt restructuring and on IMF debt sustainability analyses. He also worked at an advisory boutique on the African Development Bank ecosystem and with African sovereigns. At the Finance for Development Lab, his research focuses on debt sustainability analysis and debt swaps.
