Clemens Graf von Luckner is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. His research investigates international capital flows, with a focus on sovereign debt and crypto assets in particular. Prior to joining Stanford, he was a Doctoral Fellow at Harvard’s Mossavar Rahmani Center for Business and Government. Formerly an economist and advisor in the World Bank’s Chief Economist Office under Carmen Reinhart, Clemens was actively involved when the World Bank and its client countries grappled with the Covid-19 pandemic and its macro-financial consequences.
Clemens completed his undergraduate studies at Sciences Po Paris. He also studied at the American University of Beirut and holds graduate degrees in Economics and Finance from Sciences Po and Columbia University. He recently finished his PhD in economics at Sciences Po, with co-supervision from Harvard University.
