Daniel Cohen

Chair, Finance for Development Lab

Daniel Cohen is co-founder and Chair of the Finance for Development Lab. He is also President of the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and Director of CEPREMAP, a leading research centre specialising in the interface between economic research and public administrations.

Previously, Daniel served as Head of the Department of Economics at the Ecole Normale Supérieure (until 2021). He was a member of the Council of Economic Analysis of the French Prime Minister (1997-2012), as well as co-director of the international macro-economy programme of CEPR, Centre for Economic Policy Research.
